Industrial Copper Cocktail Bar Grooms Inspiration

The song Nothing Fancy, Just Love inspired this styled groom shoot. It couldn’t be more accurate. ByChenai used copper accents to highlight the unmistakable chemistry of this couple.

ByChenai’s talented stylists and planners can add creative touches to a stunning venue. Tim & Ben love noodles (we do too!) Their would-be wedding planner designed custom black and copper boxes with chopsticks to “disrupt the formality” of traditional wedding meals. We think this is a great way to personalize their day.

Many other details stand out in keeping with the black and copper campaign. The copper cake matched the industrial theme of the venue and was decorated with bright yellow Billy Button Flowers. Joasis’s photography captured all the handsome details with a stunning, sultry style.

Tim and Ben, a real couple I selected to add warmth and intimacy to this elopement shoot inspiration, are the perfect choice. Joasis Photography, Joasis Photography, and I worked together to tell the story of an elopement in the city. We began with the stunning images of the couple getting dressed and their ceremony shots taken outside East London’s Shoreditch Town Hall. The couple then returned to Callooh Callay Bar, where they would have a small celebration.

The boys wore suits, but I added bow ties and pocket squares to their outfits using Le Captain Mustard.

Jo navigated Callooh Callay’s unique, colorful interior with many mirrored walls. Esther, from Sylvie Signs, designed the welcome signage. She understood the brief perfectly, creating a cozy feel for this intimate celebration.

The centerpiece for the table was a small arrangement of dusty pink roses and a few yellow Billy Button Flowers from Bloom of the Block. The BIlly Buttons were also used as buttonhole flowers. They are simple but have a significant impact and look great against the groom’s suits.

I made custom-made black and copper boxes that included chopsticks to avoid the formality associated with traditional wedding meals (and also because both love noodles).

From Malarkey Cakes, Katy provided a mini copper cake that matched the room’s decor and table. She created chocolate shards that were marbled to finish it.

London Wedding Stationary created a monochrome stationery set in a bold font that echoes the welcome sign. The invitations and place cards were simple with a black ribbon. The invitation features the words “Nothing Fancy Just Love” and is a significant part of the shoot. No big party or heavy styling was used, only the emotion and warmth where needed.
